This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the website www.bluemagiclinic.com uses, why, and how you can change your choice at any time. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Who we are
This website is operated by BLUEMAGIC GROUP FUE HAIR TRANSPLANT LTD, Unit 104, The Light Box, 111 Power Road, London W4 5PY, United Kingdom (“BlueMagic Group Clinic”, “we”, “us”). We are responsible for the cookies and similar technologies set by this website. For any question about this policy, write to info@bluemagiclinic.com.
What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Websites can also keep small pieces of information in your browser’s local storage (kept until you clear it) or session storage (deleted when you close the tab), and can load small pieces of code from other companies, such as analytics or advertising tags, that set their own cookies. The law treats all of these in the same way, so this policy covers all of them and simply calls them “cookies”.
“First-party” cookies are set by this website. “Third-party” cookies are set by another company whose service we use, such as Google, Meta or Microsoft.
The law we follow
For visitors in the United Kingdom we follow the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For visitors in the European Union and the European Economic Area we follow the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) as implemented in each country, and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
In short: we only store or read something on your device without asking when it is strictly necessary for the website or for a service you ask for. Everything else, analytics and marketing, needs your consent first, and you can withdraw that consent as easily as you gave it.
Your choice: the cookie banner
On your first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Until you choose, no analytics or marketing cookie is set and no analytics or marketing code is loaded. Google Consent Mode is set to “denied” for every category before anything else runs on the page.
- Accept all: allows analytics and marketing.
- Only necessary: allows nothing beyond the strictly necessary items below.
- Preferences: lets you allow analytics and marketing separately.
Your choice applies to this website on this browser and device. If you use another browser or device, or clear your browser data, the banner asks again.
Strictly necessary and functional (no consent needed)
These items are set by this website itself, are never shared with advertisers, and are needed to remember your cookie choice or to deliver a service you ask for.
| Name | Provider and type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| bmg-consent | This website, local storage | Remembers your cookie choice (analytics yes or no, marketing yes or no, and when you chose), so the banner does not ask again on every page. | Until you change your choice or clear your browser data |
| bmg-attr | This website, session storage | Remembers the page you arrived on, the website that sent you, and campaign codes in the link you clicked (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term, gclid, fbclid). If you then ask for your free plan, this is sent with your request so the right coordinator replies and we know which advert or page brought you. It is not sent anywhere else. | Until you close the browser tab |
| bmg-wa-ref | This website, session storage | A short reference such as IST-7K3Q, added to the message when you open WhatsApp from this website, so a coordinator can match your chat to your visit and your plan request. A click on a WhatsApp button is counted on our own server (page, button, language, device type and campaign codes; never your name, phone number or IP address). | Until you close the browser tab |
| bmg-lead | This website, session storage | After you send your details for a free plan: a signed reference to your request, your first name and whether you added photos or booked your call, so the photos and the booking you add next (also from the thank-you page) join the same request. It holds no email address or phone number. | Until you close the browser tab |
| wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie, wp-settings-* | This website, cookies | Only for our own staff who log in to manage the website. Visitors who do not log in never receive them. | The session, up to 14 days for the login; up to 1 year for wp-settings |
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you allow analytics, we use the tools below to count visits and understand which pages help people, so we can improve them. They do not receive your name, email or phone number from us.
| Name | Provider and type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_<id> | Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC), third-party cookies | Distinguish visitors and sessions so visits and page views can be counted. | Up to 2 years |
| _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID | Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation), third-party cookies | Show, in aggregate, how pages are used (clicks, scrolling) so we can improve them. | _clsk: 1 day; the others up to 1 year |
Marketing (only with your consent)
If you allow marketing, the Meta Pixel (pixel ID 1812787562957570) loads and tells Meta that a page was viewed, that WhatsApp was opened from the website, or that a free-plan request was sent. This lets us measure whether our adverts on Facebook and Instagram work and show them to people who are more likely to be interested. We do not send Meta your name, email or phone number from this website.
| Name | Provider and type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, third-party cookie set on this website | Identifies your browser to measure visits and adverts. | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, third-party cookie set on this website | Stores the click code when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram advert. | 90 days |
| fr | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, cookie on facebook.com | Advert delivery and measurement, if you use Facebook or Instagram. | 90 days |
If you allow marketing, the Google Ads tag also loads and tells Google when a free-plan request was sent, a video consultation was booked or WhatsApp was opened from the website, so we can measure which Google adverts bring patients. We do not send Google your name, email or phone number from this website.
| Name | Provider and type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _gcl_ls | Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC), cookies and local storage set on this website | Link a visit to the Google advert that was clicked and count the requests that followed. | 90 days |
| IDE, test_cookie | Google (doubleclick.net), third-party cookies | Advert delivery and measurement across websites. | IDE: up to 13 months; test_cookie: 15 minutes |
Content from other companies
- Google Maps (contact page): the map is not loaded until you tap “Show the map”. Only then does Google receive your request and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy.
- YouTube and Vimeo (patient videos and our own videos, mostly on the thank-you page and the results page): the video players are not loaded until you press play. Only then does YouTube (Google, in its privacy-enhanced mode, youtube-nocookie.com) or Vimeo (with its do-not-track option) receive your request, and they may then store information on your device under their own policies. Before you press play, nothing is requested from YouTube or Vimeo: the preview pictures are served from our own website.
- Booking your video consultation: the times you see and the call you book go from this website, through our own server, to our booking calendar (HighLevel / LeadConnector, our customer-management provider). Your browser does not connect to HighLevel for this.
- Trustpilot: our review score is shown as text. Links to Trustpilot open Trustpilot’s own website, which has its own cookie policy.
International transfers
Google, Meta, Microsoft and HighLevel may process the information their tools collect outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. They do so under the safeguards recognised by UK and EU law, such as the UK and EU adequacy decisions for certified US companies and standard contractual clauses.
How to change or withdraw your consent
- Use Cookie settings in the footer of every page, or the button on this page. The banner opens again and you can change your choice at any time.
- When you withdraw consent, analytics and marketing tools stop loading from the next page you open. Cookies they set earlier stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them, which you can do in your browser settings.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary items, the cookie banner will appear on every page.
Your rights and contact
Where cookies collect personal data, you have the rights described in our Privacy Policy, including access, correction, deletion and objection. To use them, or for any question about this policy, write to info@bluemagiclinic.com or to BLUEMAGIC GROUP FUE HAIR TRANSPLANT LTD, Unit 104, The Light Box, 111 Power Road, London W4 5PY, United Kingdom.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the European Union, the authority of the country where you live.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever the website starts or stops using a cookie or a tool. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change needs your consent again, the banner will ask you.
