Healing procedure of the transplanted area

Once the surgery has been performed, the surgeon or nurse will apply prescribed lotion or any suitable moisturizing oil and leave it the way it is for around 15 to 30 minutes. This procedure will leave a soothing and softening effect on the transplanted grafts and the donor area. Also will remove the traces of dried blood by helping the scars to heal faster.

The very first wash after the transplant

After 15 to 30 minutes, the scalp will be washed with warm water. Our surgeon will use a special medical shampoo and apply to the entire scalp very gently.

Later stage process of the hair wash

Shampooing will have to be practiced daily to remove the scabs and traces of dried blood for almost 7 to 10 days.

Shampoo your head more than once in a day

If the need be, hair wash can be done for more than once in a day as well with the special shampoo

How long would it take for PRP treatment to show results?
